Twitter Linkedin eCard has, for a second successive year, been nominated in two categories for Online Media Awards, joining the likes of the BBC, the Huffington Post and Channel 4 News on the shortlist.

The agriculture business website is up against names including the Financial Times, Forbes and Wall Street Journal as the best business/finance site.

And it is competing against the likes of Al Jazeera, the Financial Times' fastFT service and the Nursing Times for the best specialist site. last year won the best business/finance site award, and was also nominated as best specialist site.

Mike Verdin, the website's editor, said: "The team are thrilled to have been nominated again.

"It is recognition of the hard work, and expertise, that goes into making the website the first stop for agricultural business news.

He added: "We also take this opportunity to thank our 400,000 readers a month, from more than 180 countries, for their support."
