We are pleased to announce that Agrimoney.com has been acquired by Briefing Media.
We join a growing band of agricultural information properties including Farmers Guardian; Arable Farming; Dairy Farmer; LAMMA, the UK's leading agricultural equipment and services exhibition; LammaXchange; Farmers Weather and the British Farming Awards.
What does this mean for the Agrimoney business?
The Agrimoney business has grown considerably since our launch in 2009 and we now attract more than 70,000 users each month from more than 170 countries. However, we still have further ambitions to grow.
Now, with the backing of one of the largest agricultural information businesses, we have the resources and expertise to expand our product offering.
Over the coming months we will be working with our partners to understand what new services might be valuable and set a plan for their development.
Your input is always valuable in this process and we'd love to hear any views or advice you might have for us.
Please e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org with any thoughts. We are likely to send out a more formal readership survey in the near future.
When I launched the site in 2009 my objective was to report on and analyse the growth of agricultural investment. That mission is, if anything, even more relevant today now that farming has become a high-profile target for investment, which is much-needed to ensure the world can, with constrained resources, feed its expanding population.
My role in the continued development of Agrimoney remains unchanged. I will continue to be the Editor and Chief Analyst for the site and look forward to working with the Briefing Media team on a lot of new and exciting initiatives.
