Agrimoney launches new event for 2017

Twitter Linkedin

Agrimoney is launching a new conference, Agrimoney LIVE, to be held on 23-25 May 2017 in London.

The three day event aims to bring together the entire agribusiness supply chain, with focused and relevant content and more than 20 hours of networking opportunities woven into the event.

Building on 2016's Agrimoney Investment Forum and Agri Risk Forum and with input from a cross-industry advisory panel, Agrimoney LIVE will cover four key themes, giving attendees the chance to pick and choose the most business-relevant content and networking opportunities.

The three days and four streams are:

DAY 1 – Commodities: designed to help agribusinesses and trading houses understand and mitigate risk to their business. Large producers, corporates, financial traders and hedge funds will discuss recent market fluctuations and the effect on price, trade flows and hedging strategies.

DAY 2 – Strategy: helping asset managers, agricultural corporates and institutional investors make better decisions about where to deploy capital, diversify portfolios and maximise returns.

DAY 3 – Real Assets: This stream looks at real asset and land investment opportunities, both locally and globally. End investors, asset managers, farmland managers and real estate companies will explore the various routes to market available to those looking to deploy capital in more tangible assets.

DAY 3 – Agri-tech: This stream focuses on the innovation taking place in agriculture and the investment this attracts. End investors, VC's and private equity firms will join large corporates, start-ups and entrepreneurs driving the sector forward. Learn about the technologies that will dominate agriculture in years to come.

Agrimoney's head of events, Elisabeth Mork-Eidem said: "We are delighted to bring this new event to the market. Its depth of content will reflect the thoroughness and clarity that Agrimoney is known for.

"Feedback from our other events demonstrates how much delegates value networking opportunities, so we have worked hard to make sure this is a key focus too."
