August is proving even faster than July for US soybean export sales - at least, in terms of USDA announcements of big orders.
As of August 19, sales announced through the USDA’s daily alerts system had reached 3.09m tonnes, ahead of the 1.91m tonnes as of the same stage of July.
Again the demand is being driven by China.
