US winter wheat condition March 11 - in numbers

Winter wheat ratings remain low in drought-tested major hard red winter growing states, although they have improved in Oklahoma and Texas, US Department of Agriculture briefings overnight showed.


Meanwhile, first ratings for Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi, soft red winter wheat states, came in not bad, but down year on year, with the issue too much moisture rather than too little.
