USDA’s monthly cattle-on-feed report was released on Friday.

The following data compare the government’s data with analysts’ estimates in the Urner Barry survey for cattle in the nation’s feedyards that have a capacity of 1,000 or more animals.

The figures are expressed as a percentage of the year-before number.
