The US Department of Agriculture overnight issued late-January ratings for the condition of the US winter wheat crop in most major growing states.
The table below lists the readings, in terms of the percentage of crop rated "good" or "excellent, plus gives their change on late December, and on November 24, the date of the USDA last, pre-winter nationwide data.
The USDA will on April 6 resume publishing weekly crop progress reports.
