China suspends imports from two more Brazilian pork plants

China has suspended imports of pork from two more Brazilian meat-packing plants located in Rio Grande do Sul that are owned by JBS SA and BRF SA, according to the Chinese customs authority.

China gave no reason for the cancelation, but it is likely due to China’s concern about Covid-19.

China has now blocked six Brazilian packing plants from shipping meat to China amid concern about outbreaks of Covid-19 at those plants.
